Jazzed Up Gumbo Ramen

Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavor Ramen comes alive with a hearty helping of andouille sausage, shrimp, pulled chicken, okra, onion, bell pepper and celery sautéed in butter and Creole seasoning. Finished with scallions, hot sauce to taste and served with cornbread for dipping.

INGREDIENTS

Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavor Ramen Bowl

  • 2 packages Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavor Ramen Bowls

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup onion and pepper mix

  • 2 tbsp okra, sliced

  • 2 tbsp celery, sliced

  • 2/3 cup Andouille sausage, sliced

  • 6 shrimp, cooked

  • 1/2 cup chicken, pulled

  • 2 slices cornbread

  • green onions sliced, as needed

DIRECTIONS

PREPARE NOODLES

Remove the lids of the Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Flavor Ramen packages and both packets from each. Add packet #1 to each and fill water to the line indicated. Microwave uncovered on high for 3 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before adding packet #2. Stir until fully combined.

SAUTÉ INGREDIENTS

In a sauté pan, add butter, onion pepper mix, okra, celery, sausage, shrimp and chicken. Cook 4-6 minutes until sausage starts to caramelize and vegetables are cooked down. Season with creole seasoning. Add ramen bowls to sauté pan and toss together.

PLATE, GARNISH AND ENJOY!

Divide between 2 serving bowls. Garnish with green onions and serve with a slice of warm cornbread and your favorite hot sauce. Enjoy!
