  • 2 packages Maruchan Chicken Flavor Rice

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced

  • 4 chicken thighs, chopped

  • 1 package butter chicken simmer sauce, store bought

  • cilantro, as needed

DIRECTIONS

PREPARE RICE

To cook rice, remove lid and packet inside. Open packet into cup and stir well. Add 175 ml of water and stir. Microwave 4 minutes on high. Leave in microwave for 3 minutes to cool. Stir in chopped cilantro as desired.

PREPARE CHICKEN

To prepare butter chicken, in a saute pan add butter, onion, chopped chicken thighs and cook until onions are translucent and chicken starts to brown. Add in prepared butter chicken sauce and simmer 15-20 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.

PLATE AND ENJOY!

Plate two bowls of rice and divide butter chicken between. Serve with toasted mini naan bread pieces and top with cilantro. Enjoy!
